The Lead
Currently, a large part of lead production is devoted to automotive battery electrodes and ammunition. Its high density makes it a material of choice for weights of all kinds. In the nuclear industry, it is used in the form of bricks or lead glass as a shield against radiation. The addition of lead compounds makes it possible to obtain red or yellow hues in ceramics.
Lead is also very common in sculptures and in the building sector. Some white paints that contain lead are still used by artists.
